Our History

Alpha & Omega Church was founded on January 10th, 1998 on the Island of Willemstad Curaçao by Senior Pastors Eugene and Solange Huybregts. It was a house church back then/ The services were held at their own house at Pater Andres Belloweg (Brievengat).

The Pastors were called as Pastors while they were serving in another church. The instruction that God gave them was, to wait upon Him. They waited patiently on the Lord to establish the church. While serving in their then Church, Pastor Eugene Huybregts started walking in his calling and was being used by God two years before the Alpha & Omega church was founded.

Alpha & Omega Church is prone to believing in ties/ international relationships, work with other churches abroad. This entails preaches, worship, etc. The church organized numerous campaigns. Alpha & Omega Church is a big church here on Curaçao and is impacting a lot of lives. The Pastor’s believe in the power of praise and worship; they also stand for organizing concerts. One of the biggest concerts that God granted Pastor Eugene Huybregts and his wife Solange Huybregts to do on Curaçao was the concert of Donnie McClurkin and Cece Winans but also Martha Munizzi and Ingrid Rosario . It was a privilege that they could bring them to Curaçao in 2009 and 2010. Alpha & Omega stands also for impacting the nation. The Pastors strongly believe that churches are called to work together, the love of God, and in the grace and forgiveness of God. All this is believed to be key components in shaping every person that God had put on their path.

In 2004, after God shaped the church, God spoke unto the Pastors hearts that He will do something big for them. At the beginning of everything, God promised them also that He will give them a land in order to build. In 2012, the promised land was found. The paperwork’s regarding the Land started shortly, and today we declare to be standing on OUR Promised Land. The construction work regarding the Temple started and we still in the process to complete it.

The church consists now of 150 members.
